This activity-based training uses a team of 4 to 10 employees to evaluate and scrutinize the area or issues very critically to discover where opportunities for improvement exist. The team will find real solutions and begin implementing the needed changes immediately. The team should consist of people from the focus area, supporting areas, and internal customers. By the end of each Kaizen event, substantial improvements are made, plans and responsibilities for longer range improvements are assigned, and expected measurable results noted.
Best bottom line results are achieved when a number of Kaizen events are completed from a single Future State Value Stream Map.
